With a Heart Full of Gratitude! Hoping the Suspicious Cases Will Be Thoroughly Investigated! ~ Acquittal Statement by Su Chien-ho, Liu Bing-lang, and Chuang Lin-xun

We thank our families, the pro bono legal team, and everyone who has accompanied us all this way! Twenty-one years of protracted litigation have turned us into middle-aged men; our youth has passed and will never return, but we hope only to retain a heart full of gratitude and return to normal lives!

I believe no one wants to be wrongfully accused, nor does any judicial officer wish to misjudge a case. We hope this unfortunate miscarriage of justice can spark deeper reflection and make the judiciary more progressive! Finally, we urge the judiciary to carefully investigate finalized cases that still harbor significant doubts, and to jointly uphold our shared judicial justice!
