JRF 2016 Fundraising Banquet - Thank You for Your Overwhelming Support

The Judicial Reform Foundation held its 21st annual fundraising banquet on October 1, 2016, at the Cosmos Hotel TICC Exhibition Hall. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all friends concerned with judicial reform who came to cheer on our work, filling us with warmth.

The theme of this year's fundraising banquet was "Opening a New Page in Judicial Reform." We hope that through a "movement approach" characterized by "public participation, diverse dialogue, information transparency, consensus building, and the deepening of the rule of law," judicial reform will present an appearance different from the past—one where professional elites do not stand apart from the general public, but rather stand alongside the people, bringing the judicial vision we all hope for closer to reality.

At this year's banquet, we auctioned proposals for four core areas of work: "Universal Judicial Reform Movement," "Wrongful Conviction Rescue," "Legal Education Promotion," and "People's Participation in Trials." All proposals were successfully auctioned off. Thank you very much for stepping up to generously donate and support our work. Because of you, we can go even further!

Financial auditing and transparency reports regarding the income and expenditures of this year's fundraising banquet will be published on the JRF website for public inspection. Thank you for your continued support all along!
