Job Opening | JRF Taipei Office: Visual Advocacy Specialist (Closed)

The Judicial Reform Foundation (JRF) is a nonprofit, nongovernmental advocacy organization dedicated to judicial reform. The Advocacy Department communicates JRF's legislative work and the individual cases it supports through a wide range of formats, including forums, workshops, film screenings, exhibitions, infographics, newsletters, Facebook, and Instagram. Through these different forms of public communication, we help more people understand judicial-reform issues in Taiwan.

Position: Visual Advocacy Specialist

1. Responsibilities

   • Develop, film, and edit videos on judicial reform and human-rights issues
   • Livestream forums, conferences, and press conferences
   • Manage JRF's Facebook and Instagram content
   • Plan and carry out promotional campaigns for other events

2. What We're Looking For

   • Enjoys telling stories and expressing ideas through video
   • Proficiency with video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere
   • Familiarity with graphic-design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
   • Strong organizational skills; enjoys working with people and communicates patiently
   • Able to think quickly and flexibly in pursuit of a goal
   • Commitment to the principles of judicial reform

3. Working Hours

   1. Sunday and Monday are regular days off
   2. Saturday: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
   3. The regular workday is 7.5 hours. Overtime may be required when necessary. Overtime pay, compensatory leave, and annual leave are provided in accordance with the Labor Standards Act.

6. Compensation and Benefits

   • Full-time position with two days off per week; overtime may be required when necessary
   • Overtime pay, compensatory leave, and annual leave are provided in accordance with the Labor Standards Act
   • The starting salary for a junior-college or university graduate with no prior work experience is NT$30,000 per month. Applicants with work experience or relevant professional expertise will be placed on the salary scale in accordance with JRF's personnel rules.
