Judicial Reform Foundation

Discussions on digital rule-of-law issues span technical, cybersecurity, legal, and national security dimensions. Through initiatives such as the digital ID litigation and amendments to the Technology-Based Investigative Methods Act, the JRF has experienced firsthand how digital legal issues are closely intertwined with contemporary judicial reform, both at the policy level and in individual case remedies.

As Taiwan tackles digital governance and development challenges in sync with the rest of the world, the JRF hopes to explore the role and function of the rule of law in this domain through a brand-new series of digital rule of law salons, inviting everyone to join the conversation.

The inaugural session of this lecture series features two legal practitioners with extensive domestic policy and judicial practice experience who are currently pursuing advanced studies and research abroad. They will share their latest observations and recommendations on online platform regulation and digital ID systems from a transnational perspective.
