Job Opening | JRF Taichung Office is Hiring: Part-time Visual Design Specialist (Closed)

The Judicial Reform Foundation (JRF) is a non-profit, non-governmental advocacy organization dedicated to promoting judicial reform. Having journeyed through 30 years, in addition to traditional casework and legislative work, we also engage the public through diverse advocacy methods, including exhibitions, lectures, debate competitions, student camps, film festivals, illustrated information packets, e-newsletters, Facebook fan page and Instagram management, and more. Through various forms of social communication, we help more people understand Taiwan's judicial issues.

The JRF has historically had a full-time design advocacy specialist whose main workplace was in Taipei. However, in response to the growing design needs for events and venues at the Taichung Office, in 2025 we decided to look for a local part-time partner in Taichung to assist us. Job Title: Part-time Visual Design Specialist

1. Job Description

• Visual design for venue exhibitions, layout and printing of production materials
• Visual design, graphic creation, and document layout for other events and social media
• Familiarity with multimedia design software (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Work closely with the team and propose design solutions based on needs
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within deadlines

2. What We Expect

• Identification with the ideals of judicial reform
• Enthusiasm for using imagery to convey ideals and describe issues
• Enthusiasm for interacting with people and patient communication skills

3. Workplace

• Taichung Office.
• The Foundation's remote work regulations vary according to the work arrangements of each department. Candidates with special circumstances may also raise them for discussion during the interview.

4. Salary and Benefits

• Part-time: Hourly wage of NTD 250, calculated based on actual monthly working hours and disbursed monthly.
• Other conditions in accordance with the Labor Standards Act. 3-month probation period (compensation during and after the probation period is the same).
