About JRF

Founded in 1995, the Judicial Reform Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "JRF") has worked toward the vision of establishing "a judiciary trusted by the people," ranging from promoting the placement of judges' nameplates on the bench to establishing the evaluation system for judges and prosecutors, as well as setting up a complaint center. JRF aspires to be an influential platform where everyone in this land can enjoy the right to a fair trial as naturally as breathing; where Taiwan's society possesses a firm and continuous monitoring force to prevent those in power from abusing their authority; and where the judiciary has the courage to acknowledge its own imperfections, allowing miscarriages of justice to be redressed and institutions to be continuously reformed.

This year, JRF is entering its 27th year. As the new year approaches, in addition to traditional issues such as wrongful conviction rescue, monitoring of unqualified judges and prosecutors, and legal education, our work has also expanded into the field of digital rule of law in response to the development of the times. We have prepared a series of activities and sincerely invite all enthusiastic lawyer friends to join our ranks!
